You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, hiking and the use of kayaks/paddleboard/peddleboat may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, hiking or using the kayaks/paddleboard/peddleboat if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, hikes or uses the kayaks while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, hiking or using the kayaks/paddleboard/peddleboat. 1. NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking inside or under the covered porch. Cigarette butts may be disposed of in the campfire ring or garbage.
2. WiFi: See Manual on Fridge.
3. Water equipment: Kayak, paddleboat, and life jackets are located in the shed by the dock. The code to unlock is 105. Please put kayaks back on stand at the end of your stay.
4. Property Bounds: Please be respectful of our property and our neighbors. Our grounds include the yard from the cottage to the large garage. The beachfront line runs from the pine trees to the orange flags and includes the dock.
5. Pet Stays: Pets are allowed with prior consent and pet fee. Please keep pets off furniture and crate if left unattended. Pets must be leashed outside, and all refuse properly disposed of.
6. Parking: There is space for two parked cars in our gravel parking area.
7. Food/Beverages: Items are permitted in the kitchen and dining area ONLY.
8. Campfires: Campfire rings are provided for your enjoyment, please use responsibly. Wood may be gathered off the beach or larger rounds are by the shed.
9. Grill: Please clean the grill and utensils after each use and ensure the grill is turned off when done.
10. Laundry: The washer and dryer are located by the kitchen for your convenience.
11. Check-out: Check out time is 11:00 am, unless late check out has been requested and approved. Please wash all kitchen glassware, pans, plates, utensils etc and put away. Please leave the cottage as neat and clean as possible at check out.
12. Garbage/Recycling: Please bag all garbage/recycling and place in proper receptables off the porch.
13. Removal, alteration or relocation of any furniture inside or outside is not permitted.
14. Linens: Towels and linens are not changed daily, please re-use your towels for the duration of your stay. Towels may be left on the bathroom floor at check out.
15. Fire Extinguisher/First Aid: The fire extinguisher is mounted in the laundry room. The first aid kit is above the washer and dryer.
